Ok so I did end up buying that 12 CD changer from a 2004 H2 (I was told that was what it was out of.) It was so cheap i figured i wouldn't really lose since I could just sell it on Ebay. Well It has the 10 pin plug in and I plugged it in and it powers up spits out the cartridge and loads it. But the car never recognizes it back there. You can hear it going through the cds but it never loads and plays it. It is brand new in the box, and in perfect condition but it never wants to play the cds, ive made sure they are in the right way and I've even put them upside down and place the CD changer straight up, but it still does nothing. Is it because the HU in the 2000 camaro is different from the HU in the GM trucks of 2003 on? Thanks.

No I do not. I don't get any error message, and I don't get any CD logo like the manual said I would. You can here the CD changer going through the magazine and what not, but it doesn't start to play.
