My friend ordered some Sony speakers for his truck but decided he's going to spend his money on a sub instead. He aksed me if i wanted to buy them off him. I said "no, thanks, the guy before me put in some Focals" then my friend said that the Sonys would be better. Would the Sony spekears be better than my Focals? I have 8 Focal speakers around the car. What do you guys think?

 

IMO, Sony's quality has dropped off quite a bit in the car audio dept. I'd choose the latter.

 

Remember this saying. the Japanese make good electronics, but their speakers suck.

 

Are you serious????????? Hey I will give you some Sony's and like 100 bucks for your Focals if you want Sony's that bad....

....hehe just kidding....seriously though, focals are like the best speakers out there....them and MB Quartz.....check out their website and look at some of the prices just to get an idea....STAY WITH THE FOCALS

Don't do it. Sony speakers are crapola! Especially don't do it if you like your speakers you have right now.

The only things Sony makes right now in car audio that is good is amps and HUs

 

KEEP THE FOCALS.. There is a reason why sooo many of IASCA's top sound quality competitors use them!!!

 

Thats giving them too much credit.
