Can i run sub/amp off of stock delco head unit

hey guys/gals, well i took the system out of the vibe i just sold, the vibe had a stock headunit but it had moons and tunes, which included a cheesy amp to give the stockers some more umph...well my question is, i ran a line level converter conected off the stock amp to run my amp and sub, i used the power in to splice in converter for power and spliced into the rear right speaker wire for sound, now is there a way to splice into the stock head unit for power? anyone ever run a sub and amp from delco cd player?
thanks guys
ryan

I'm confused? You want to use to hook up a sub with the stock HU?

Run a LOC from the rear speakers, get out the DMM figure out which wire is the remote, and run a power wire straight from the battery (fuse it) and a ground to a bare metal spot in the trunk.
