I have a 98 Z28 and my top vents don't blow any air out. The air will blow out at the feet and when it's on defrost but that's it. Has anyone had this problem before? What did you do to fix it?

 

Have you had your HVAC controls out of the dash recently? To install a new HU maybe? You may have accidently disconnected some of the controls. I'm not sure about 4th gens but cars used to use vaccuum lines to open and close vents. It's possible one or more of the lines came un-done.

 

I took my car to the shop to get my intake manifold gasket replaced. When I picked my car up the ac wouldn't work right.

 

I called the shop and they said one of the vaccum lines most likely didn't get reconnected. Running it back up there. Thanks for your help.
