Bose speakers

Is is possible to buy bose component speakers for our camaros? Utilizing the factory setup, meaning replacing the factory speakers with bose car audio speakers? or would this be beneficial? Just curious. I would think that they would make somethign like this. Thanks in advance.

Re: Bose speakers

No it would not be worth your time to just swap out speaker for new bose speakers. The bose speakers have to run through an amp or series of amps. Not sure how they are wired in our cars, but the Bose speakers need alot more power than just the head unit can supply. I have the Bose speakers in my 96 (coupe), and monsoon in my 99(vert), which may not be a very good comparison, but hands down the bose in the 96 are 10x's better than the monsoon. There are less speakers in the vert, which may make this comparison unfair, but I dont see the Monsoons even being as clear/crisp either. Hope this helps!
