Bose HU - all the same?

Looking to put a factory Bose HU back in my car, had nothing when I bought it. According to the RPO codes, it orginally came with a Bose CD unit. Can I put in any Bose CD unit from an F-body, or is it '93 specific? Are Bose units from other cars compatible as well, just look different?

most of the early-mid 90's bose radios are wired the same but the way they mount in the dash from model to model is different. You can probly make most fit but only camaro pre-98 will drop in.

From a wiring harness perspective -- they are all identical.

The 93-96 Camaros have the contoured radio bezel on the right side. From what I know, most Bose units of that era are the same, but the Camaro received a specific design on the face to go with the contoured right side. Any will fit, though. Just might look funny.
