I purchased one of these a while back and was told it was 1.25 cu ft., I mean, not like I would be too angry about it, but were they all just 1.03?

BJ's passenger side boxes where 1.25. My box is MAXED out on space and I pulled down .96 ft3 for TA sized enclosure. On a Cammy I could get nearly 1.1 ft3. I'm not saying 1.25 ft3 isn't possible, but you'd have to make the hatch trim part of the box.

What sub is everyone using in this stealthbox? Does the JL12w3 have enough room in this enclosure.

What does everyone think about this setup? I have the JL sub w/ a final 4ohm impedance with a MTX 6500d with 390WRMS running to it?

Yep, the 12W3 is a well matched sub. Most 12" subs like it a little bigger than 1 ft3 but then you have to go with a pass. side, cut up your panel and loose the spare.

I haven't heard one personally, but the eDesign K-series is supposed to sound excellent in a 1 ft3 enclosure. I have heard them described as a W6V2 just a little more "excited" and not quite as smooth and subtle. If money isn't an issue and you have enough power the A-series is supposedly on par with the W7 and the Brahma. Kinda the best of both subs, but this is just what I've read from others. I haven't personally heard any eDesign, but I may end up buying one just to see for myself.

I have one of BJ's driver side boxes.
I thought it was 1.05 cu. ft. but maybe I don't remember correctly.
A JL 12w6 is in it.. sounds great.
Here's a pic:

I think that was just an estimate, I measured mine with water displacement and 1.03 three times. It's not like .02 ft3 is gonna amount to a hill of beans anyway.
