You could either run them at 2ohms (per speaker) per channel, or run both of them bridged for a 4 ohm total. I would run the later for ease of tuning and equal output from the 2.

 

Well, the first questions is are the CV's dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm?

 

According to the Cerwin Vega website their new subs are dual 4. It should tell on the sub if it is different. If they were 2 ohms per coil, I would recommend a different way to wire them. Some questions I have is what kind of car are they going in, and what size box are they going. Also what size do they recommend. If they're are any other questions you have I'd be glad to help. I've owned numerous Rockford amps (including an 800a2), and have went through many subs trying to figure out the science behind sound systems.

It doesn't say the ohms on the subs, it is in a 97 camaro in a q logic box that sits in the well with the top trim piece. it is non vented. thinkin of a spl contest the end of the summer not alot of heavy competition.
