Best place to mount tweeters

Where is the best place to mount tweeters. I used to have them mounted in the door panels but I got new door panels. What are some other options?

In the A-pillars, in kicks or behind the AC vents. You might also look into a set of tweeter pods that mount in that little space behind the side mirrors. That and the AC mounting are the least invasive. PM me know if your in need of some, I might be able to help.

i PUT MINE IN THE a PILLAR. I have a firebird so there is a hole for the air to come out that directs towards the window, I guess to defog it. Not sure if camaros have it, but All I did was take off the cover and pillar cover stick speaker in there with mounts speaker came with and put it back together. No need to further cut or drill, best yet it faces right towards my ears. I now hear sounds I never heard before, I put them there. Tweeters are directional, so it is important to have them face towards your ears

Tweeters are directional, but some sound better off-axis than on. Some times imaging and soundstage benefit from an off-axis mounting also. It all depends on the speaker.

Get yourself some double sided tape and experiment with different positions till you find one that sounds best to you.
