Bass Blockers

I just picked up a set of bass blockers to hook up to the front speakers in my moms car, because they suck. Can anyone tell me how to hook these things up? I have the speaker pulled out of the enclosure and theres no directions on the BB package . So i kinda need to know ASAP.

Thanks,
Kevin

If they are a simple first order hi-pass filter (a capacitor) connect one end to the + wire and the other end to the + of the speaker.

That is the best way to go. ur only looking for slight blockage of Bass Htz, u can splice the blocker into a positive wire closer to the headunit. This way, some bass signal will get through to the speakers. Just my .02 cents

How does connecting the bass blocker close to the HU let "some bass signal through to the speakers" ?

I'm not sure why doing this would allow some bass through, but if it does then i'm glad i put it right next to the speaker, cuz the bass blockers helped those poor 3.5" a lot.

Where you connect it (at the speaker or behind the HU) makes absolutely no difference at all.

OK, I'm wrong

I've only installed them about 1500 times

mayb u should check the bass hertz relays when u position them differently. I'm not saying it's much, but it is there
