HELP! Dunno what's wrong

I just finished hooking up my JBL Tweeters to the front of my Rockford Fosgate speakers. i also put the same Rockfor Fosgates in the rear also with bass blockers. So I'm out driving, and the bass on my two Jensen 10"s starts to sound a little faded. They are powered by a Pioneer 760 Watt amp. All of a sudden the bass just goes dead. Im like, WTF?? but im not that concerned cuz i thought it was just a fuse. I get out and check, the fuse is just fine Now I'm worried. I check over all the wiring to the amp, everything is still connected properly. The Amp didn't get hot, and it doesnt smell fried.

Anyone have any ideas? Please don't tell me i blew something!

Thanx all.

I would check and see if the ground cable is properly grounded.

I would have to say that it is probably ground related as well... I doubt that you blew anything...check grounds first

Took your guys advice and tried to run the ground to one of the factory grounds. Still no go. The amp lights up and everything like it's supposedly working, but i get nothing out of the subs. I even checked the 25 fuses on the amp and the 30 fuse on the wire leading to the battery terminal. Both appear to be fine. Could something be wrong internally with the Amp? Or is it possible that both subs went out within a few seconds of each other? could a connection at the head unit be bad all of a sudden? PLEASE HELP! Thanx

You should check the RCA cables and make sure that they didn't burn out on you

PROBLEM FOUND!!!!!!!!!!

Man, i guess when u have to find a problem, u gotta be unbiased and assume that your friends ARE IDIOTS

Turns out the SUBS themselves are bad. Took my JBL 12" out of my blazer, hooked it up to the amp, and BOOM - Bass is back

I'm never buying anything used again! friends or not

Looks like I'm in the market for some new 10"s.

IM thinking of going with Image Dynamics or Eclipse. What do u all think? Those IDs are well worth the money from what i've seen and the experience i've had working on them.
