Anyone have an iPod in their car?

I'm getting an iPod and the connection kit that Pioneer makes, since I have a Pioneer headunit. Just wondering how easy it is to work with the iPod when it's connected to your car, and if you get really good quality sound out of it.

I have one but it's Alpine's direct connect. The head unit completely controls the iPod. The quality is good but I don't like the interface. It gets confused because of how many songs I have on the iPod (the interface on my model was borrowed from CD MP3 expectations).

I'm actually thinking about upgrading to the new model that seems to advertise what I want. I just want to actually look at and play with one before I spend $1,000 for a head unit.

So you're gonna upgrade head units, right?

I have a pretty decent Pioneer unit, the P6800MP, like a $300 head unit with tons of features. Hopefully it has a decent interface with the iPod

If you get an interface make sure it is the OBDII interface. The first attempt Pioneer made at it sucks, but the OBDII is MUCH better, perfect quality, and speed is almost on par with a CD.
