I just picked up a used but like new head unit with cd player from a 97 TA. Would there be any problems with it working in my car? Everything straight forward? And I am somewhat intersted in getting an MP3 player since I have so many cd's. If I find one I will put the head unit on Ebay. Can anyone recomend a decent one but without an outrageous price? Say $150-$300. Can any fit in the stock location without anything extra? Kinda vague question but I'm new to the audio world. And last any pics of MP3 players in your cars? Thank

 

I'm running an Alpine 7894, which does MP3s very well... and in my car has RARELY skipped. I'm a large fan of alpine and really ahve never had any problems. I got mine off Ebay last year for $325, but that was last years price, I know there's cheaper now.

You will need a mounting kit for almost any HU out there though, plus a wiring kit. But both shouldn't cost more than $50 total.
