the crunch is a turd and should not even be called an amp.
honestly save your money and buy exactly what you want not
flea market crap. believe me once you have it your just gonna want to get better soundin stuff( I have done it plenty of times
2000 dollors later) and look at the xmax on that sub its a joke
of a sub. but if its all you can afford and really want it, go with the jbl or kenwood amps cheap but will get the job done.

as for my last setup alpine mrv 1507 amp pushin 1500 watts max
and a 1000 continous, 1 farad cap. and it pushed two12" diamond audio subs( not the mac daddys unfortunetlly) just the m3 motorsports. as for speakers mb quart(not Q series damnit)lol

Well I think 1000Watts of Crunch bass is plenty for me, and it sounds just fine and people can hear it form 3 blocks away.....but I only spent $175 on the amp and $100 for a pair of 600W DVC DHD "Lighted" 12 inch SUbs i bought from a friend....So I only spent $275...excluding the Kenwood GT speakers replacing all factories and the Pioneer DEH7400 cd/mp3/XM sat radio with active matrix display on my sound system. So that $2000 you spent on sound..LOL for what I spent on mine its way too damn loud for me to even turn up. I took my $2000 and put it into a 383 stroker. So go ahead and play your music loud, my NOS'd 383 will screaming so loud all you will hear in engine.

man you are really showing your ignorance here. it has more excursion than the Alpine TypeR, Infinity Perfect 12, JL 15w3, 12w6, it really is an incredible sub for the price it has a ton of excursion. I have never seen a dissatisfied customer, but if you had a different experience please let me know. Tell me what do you know about the Tempest, because it seems you know very little about it.

Oh yeah the MRV 1507 is 750 watts RMS.

Damn, are you talking about the Tempest????? If so, you really should do a little more research before you make a comment like that...... It's one of (if not THE) best bang for the buck 15"s around now......

Ok to start off maybe you didnt see the (1500w max) I so plainly
typed and 1000w continous If you didnt see that. As far as
spending 2000 dollors thats the whole amount for every set up.
you think I would pay 2000 for that setup hahaaha try $600
If you can buy that same exact setup for that then but
I got all that because I got hookups. Just the amp alone goes for more than 600 (back then). Im sorry but my subs had a 2inch
excursion so when I saw mm I laughed but not realizing that
it was 16mm. Im sorry I dont know as much as you car audio
kings your comments have enlightened me and I should bow to you?

That amp is rated for 150x2 RMS. using Ohm's law we can plainly see that it will do no more than 600 watts , protection circutry may reduce that number, that is why many 150x2 amps do 450 bridged. There is nothing that will cause physics as we know it to bend just for this amp to produce 1000 watts. I went to one retail site that claimed that this amp did 750 to a 4 ohm mono load, but that was a Euro site, but it was the same model #..... i dunno

Then why did you claim you had a $2000 system ????
MY subs costs $150 each, but I got both for $100 cuz I GOT hookups too.
Ohand my AMP goes for $250 ( when I bought it) But I got it for $175....and the sealed box goes for $75.....I got it FREE.

The Pioneer PH7400 I paid $300 for when I got it it was retailing for $399.

And my speakers were replaced under warantee, so i got KEnwood GT's for FREE another $350 value.

So my system is easily a $1200 system that I only paid $600 for.....Just cuz u work at Best Buy doesnt make you special.

yeah about that I dont think best buy sells diamond audio but good try anyways. and as far as my mrv 1507 only doing 700 or
whatever whats max, I dont think sp check again I think you have the wrong model. you have to order them they dont normally sell them on hand.because most people dont need that
powerful of an amp. I always stick to the saying you get what you pay for, believe me I started off with modest **** then slowly
proggressed into the nice systems. It just makes me laugh because I live in a place where people buy cheap **** and distorte (sp?) the fu** out of it. and alot of people need to invest in some dynamat because there trunks rattle so much you cant even notice the bass.
