Any ideas on an alternator to run all the goodies. I have a 92 Z28 with a rebuilt autozone alternator. I've notices the lights dim when certain things go on and off.

What kind of goodies are we talking about? Sometimes a better battery will fix it. Also if you have crummy grounds, the electrical system will suffer.

Ohio generator makes some of the best alternators out there, albeit some are pricey.

Things like amps and subs and things that light up, like reverse glow gauges.

i'd recheck my connections first... ground, power, alternator power.

if that doesn't help...

upgrade your...

Negative battery to Chassis
Engine to Chassis
Alternator to Positive Battery

with 4 gague wire... should get rid off any dimming

ERRR... 1 frad capacitors is pretty worthless...

just a band-aid for a weak electical system...

upgrade your wiring and if that doesn't help... get a bigger alt and/or battery... might as well fix the source of the problem.
