Almost finished install in my 94
Almost finished install in my 94
been putting together a system for my car. got most of it in but waiting on the ups man for my second amp. running an Ultimate t3-1000d (awesome amp but only availble from canada) and a Powerbass asa600.4 on two MA Audio 12" dvc's, all new pioneer door and sails(were put in right before i got the car & will be going as soon as i have more funds) MTX tweets with passive crossovers, and a Pioneer Premier 7700 HU. here are some pics of the back, not bad for my first install of this type. all my other ones were in trunks and never had to worry about being real neat. also my first time building a ampboard too. not the best i'm sure but great for me.

looks good, my recomendation drill holes in the amp board and run the wires up underneath it, it will look much cleaner... maybe hide the cap in the cubby on driverside or by spare tire unless u want it shown
cap looks a little outta place to me...but I always think they do unless they're mounted on the back well wall or hidden
it'll prob come together better once you get that other amp on the board (assuming it fits and that's where you plan on putting it)

yeah i'm thinking about running the wires thru the board. the cap pretty much has to stay there. don't want much wire between it and the distro block and i don't mind it being seen. the other amp is going on there too, should just fit. gonna be fun to adjust but it should be ok. will put up more pics as soon as it's done.
was just lookin at it again, may end up moving the cap to the drivers side front corner of the board facing the passenger side so it's not standing up right in the middle. don't know yet. was told by a buddy of mine that does this kinda work that the cap needs to be no more than 18" from the power source. didn't think to ask him why cause he does this kinda work for a living, just took his word for it.

it's one of the digital caps, supposed to charge itself the first time you hook it up but i'm gonna disconnect my amp first just to be safe. the other amp is going in the left bottom corner so it will be full once it comes in. i've never ran a cap before but the manufacture of the big amp strongly recommended it so it's in there.
