Alarm "Accessory" Fuction
I have a Viper alarm (Model 600ESP) that I had in my Camaro that I plan on putting in my truck. When it was in my Camaro the accessory button on the remote was wired as a remote trunk release.
My question is, is it possible to wire this accessory function to a relay, or something similar, that would allow me to hook neons, etc. to it and turn them on/off via remote? Also, how would it be wired so the lights could also be turned on/off via switches in the cab?
Thanks!

I don't think you would be able to do that with the trunck release. A relay would be needed for a couple different things. For example, if the trunk release is a negitive output then you can use a relay to change that to a positive output for your lights. However, the problem will be that the trunk release will just give out a "pulse". It only needs a "pulse" to pop the trunk. Unless you can program the alarm for different options on that one output. I'm not that familure with Viper alarms. Maybe someone that is familure with that model can be more helpful.
