Alarm?

I lost my remote to my old prestige alarm system. And I am thinking about buying a new system. I am looking into a prestige system with remote start. My question is how hard is it to install a system like this one? http://cgi.ebay.com/PRESTIGE-APS920-...3A1|240%3A1318 All of those wires scare me.

It's really not as hard as it looks. I hooked up a Viper alarm in my Dad's Nova and it was very easy (made much easier with the dash out ). You can use this great guide as well:

Thanks buddy. It dosen't seem to be that hard, I do have a prestige alarm on it now but all it is is a noise maker that ulocks the doors. I was quoted $70 for the new remote. But being the cheap basterd that I am I searched ebay and found this kit that is a lot better than mine for $120. I think I am going to attempt to install it myself. Hell I did every other mod on my car so why can't I install a few wires; thats the way I am thinking.

Did you get your pcm in. If so how does it run?
Just noticed your post. The car sounds great, it sounds like it's running good. Sounds like a sowing machine under the hood; just like mine. Noticed you are babying her wating for everything to break in. As soon as I got mine done and running good I put it to the floor and burnt the hell out of my stock tires. But I am sure you notice it is a lot faster now even without going WOT.

Sure did, runs awesome. I'm still working on my high idle, but that's about the only problem I have. When you do install the alarm, make sure you disconnect the battery. I didn't when I hard-wired my radar detector in and blew a fuse.

Great help using http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/fbody/alarm96up.htm.
My Viper 350HV came with the 451M Micro Door Lock Relay Module, do I just connect this and use the diodes going to the door lock trigger wires?
I had a keyless entry system that I installed about 10 years ago and I used two relays for the door locks.
