Added a System, What do you think?
A custom Box, built to hold 4 tens, made of 3/4" particle board(heavy)
1200 watt 4-channel Rockford Fostgate amp
1000 watt capacitor Rockford Fostgate
2 400 watt MTX 10" subwoofer
2 Infiniti Dual Voice coil
total for the system is over $1100
I should have went with Long tubes!

Re: Added a System, What do you think?
Any pictures? I'd have gone with MDF for the box, as particle board has a mish mosh of different woods in it, all with different resonant properties. With that much bass, you probably won't be able to differentiate.
Any reason for going with two different subs?

Re: Added a System, What do you think?
Ok.... don't take this personally....
First, particle board is NOT what to use for enclosures, it sucks; MDF is what should be used. Particle board leaks, and is not near as strong as MDF.
2nd, don't mix and match subs typically; I've never really had good luck in mixing and matching subs, (After 10 years of doing car audio).
Also, what are u using the 2 different amps for and how r things wired, setup? The parts list u have doesn't make a lot of sence.
Oh, and for $1100, I could make u a MUCH better system with 2 subs that will SLAUGHTER that 4 10" system. Something along the lines of what I'm running with a pair of Adire Brahma's (Any size really; $350/ea), and a pair of Hifonics 1000D or 1500D amps (~$200 ea), and a sheet of MDF ($20), 2 tubes of Liquid Nails ($10), and a 00Ga install Kit from Knuconceptz ($80).
That setup right there would destroy the setup that you have listed in both SQ and SPL.
