i saw an mtx 8100d tested recently at american here in desmoines, and it tested a whopping 2200 watts @ 1 ohm.....no wonder it makes my 4 12" alpine type R subs pound like they do..and they say MTX over rates their amps ..any other amps put there that people have that preform close to that, (retail close to 700).....
