6X9 in front door, with crank windows? and a few questions..

Basically my mom traded in her 96 Sebring for a new Sebring, me and my dad put in a $500 set of 4 6X9 Boston Acoustics, we swapped out the speakers befoer the trade in. And I got them.

I was wondering if anyone has attempted 6x9s in the front doors, not sure if I can fit them even with some McGuyver skills, my window crank might be in the way.

I was thinking of maybe jsut spending the money to get some nice speakers for the doors, and maybe set the 2 extras on the rear deck on boxes.

Or any other opinions?

Also will speaker wire make a huge difference in a car audio system?

hehe remeber I am running base model OEM speakers form 1994... I was just thinking I need new speakers once I queited my exhaut down and could hear the radio, then a nice et of speakers fell in my lap.

Also can you guys reccomend a decent amp + sub, I was thinking of getting a base tube, or one 8 in. woofer, preferable, something small and easy to remove and install for track days, I don't need anything that hits really hard, just add a little more base to the sound setup.

Thanks in advance...

I would not try to, just my opinion. Try trade those in where you bought them from and get the 6 1/2 speakers. I know those are some good sets of speakers but I wouldn't try to go through the trouble of making them fit, just my opinion. If they won't trade it in, I'm sure you can sell those with no problems.

I've seen a guy who mounted 2 6.5s with tweeters in the door before. It can be done.

In addition to the speakers I would highly reccomend spending $300 for a power window conversion.
