2 PITA problems after new CD player install
First off....it was a stock monsoon system. I put a Alpine CDA-9853 in.
I've got new 4 ohm speakers I will be putting in soon. I'll be taking out all the monsoon crap but for now thats in and working.
My problems are that when I turn on the CD player it bumps the sub pretty hard. I thought that usually has to do with the ground. The other thing is that the thing doesn't turn off after the key is out and the door is open. You know how your in the car and you take the keys out while the radio is playing...then you open the door and in shuts off. Yea, mine isn't doing that and it should be. On the monsoon deck it had 2 wiring harnesses, the main one that you needed and then theirs that other small one thats only got like 5 wires...what is that? Maybe thats why i'm having the second problem?

Re: 2 PITA problems after new CD player install
I fixed it
I changed where the remote wire was connected. I did something the first time that worked with the stock HU to turn on my sub amp. Well that doesn't work for aftermarket HU's
