10W6 Questions
ty is going into some type of stealthbox. It should have an area of .5-.6, which should be sufficient.
I only wish I could get one for less that $100 seeing as how I only spent 90 on the speaker.
Do you have a specific amp that I could look the specs up for so that I would have a good idea what I am getting into? I am a real nOOb when it comes to audio stuff.
Thanx,
~Matt

First thing you should know is that the whole W6 line comes with dual 6 ohm voice coils. If you are only using one subwoofer, you will want to wire the coils in parallel. This will present your amp with a 3 ohm load. So you will want an amp that puts out 300-400WRMS at 3 ohms.
Does that mean that you want to spend $100 on the amp? If so, your gonna have some trouble powering your sub to it's fullest. One of the best bangs for the buck right now is the JBL BP600.1 This will output over 600WRMS into a 2 ohm load. Since you will be running at 3 ohms, probably around 400WRMS.
