How many of you guys are running those 1.5 DIN size radios that fit best into the Camaros? Which models? Thanks.

 

Alpine and Pioneer make some good ones.

Jensen is one of those products that if you get past the first month without issue it will be a good one. They either blow real fast or last forever. As far as the 1.5 dins it seems that you are better off getting a single din unit w/kit. Most companies don't seem to put as much technology and thought into those units as a single din. Most of them just fit the hole.

 

Sadly, that is correct. There are some 1.5 dins that play MP3, WMA etc. and have 4V RCAs and 10band EQ's but that's about it. And one like that will cost nearly $700 new. Or you could get a single din Premier 940MP and get 6-channel time correction, 6V RCA's and 12-band EQ.... along with a ton of other options..... for $500 new.
