`98 Monsoon Cd player in a `95 Firebird? Will it work?

I am buying a stock `98 Monsoon CD player, and I was wondering if it will plug right in to my 95 Formula that has the AM/FM/Tape 7band EQ HU. Will everything be alright as long as I dont add the Monsoon amp? It doesnt have to be a crackin system, just want to be able to play CD`s and have it sound decent, atleast as good as it sounds now with the radio. Thanks.

Want to install a factory monsoon head unit in place of my AM/FM/CD 7channel EQ stock head unit.

Trying to confirm that the above post is correct.

It should be, the wiring is definately the same but with some factory amped systems the head unit doesnt have/need as powerful of an output. I used a non monsoon in a monsoon car and didnt notice a differnce so you should be fine.
