Zeta-Lite/Camaro/Whatever you wanna call it - does it need TTops?
Re: Zeta-Lite/Camaro/Whatever you wanna call it - does it need TTops?
i donno what it was, but my firebird (im pretty sure it has something to do with the top...) but the firebird heated up far less then any other car i'd had when it was left in the sun...
most cars i get into are blistering hot and extremely unfomortable, where as the firebird was maybe 5 degrees above the outside air, it wasnt uncomfortable (well if u wore shorts like i never do, but GF's complain, the leather got hot).
and I love the tops, although i wish the back could come out too to have a hard top convertable... but the t-tops are awesome, they are great for around town although it takes a while to get them on and off.

ABSOLUTELY NEEDS THEM, or a Targa. But T-Tops have been a Camaro tradition for quite a while. I would definetely pony up the extra grand or so for them if i were buying a new Camaro.

Here is something that I don't think many of you guys have thought about...
What if the design and compliance with safety standards made T-tops not even a possibility?

Ts are essential. I think (and someone may be able to back this up) that T-tops have been a HUGE selling point for Fbody buyers that chose Fbody over Mustang.
People want open air but they don't always want the hassles of a convertible to get it.

I can't believe 350 people have looked at this thread and only 60 have voted. Come on guys, don't be lazy, spend the 2 seconds to click on a button, I want to get a general concensus here. "Big Brother" may be watching
