I say yes, I don't think I could buy a Camaro without them. I have owned 5 and they have all been TTop/Convertibles.

Yes.

80%+ 4th Gen Camaros had them... people were willing to drop a grand for them.

They should be offered.

Irrelevant. Whats important is would you buy a "Camaro-like vehicle
" without them.

Doesn't matter to me. We travel with ours. It would have to be a convertible or have sunroof. Where do you store T's when the trunk is full?

I sure hope you're not in charge of designing the tonneau covers for the convertible.

I would like a T-Top Option, however I am more concerned about fit, finish, and interior before a T-Top option. Im also more concerned that it be reliable and a great car all around before I fret over it.

I'd like to have the car first so there can be T-Top option. Without the car it dont matter

Yes, if I dont get a vert, I will buy with t-tops. I dont care if they are a $1500 option.
I'm looking for a 4th gen right now and refuse to buy a hard top.

Please, put a proper Targa top on it, like the C5/6. Leave the T-tops back in the 70's where they belong.

me personally, i always preferred the t-tops on a camaro rather than a targa (yea, i've seen a couple of targa camaros)
targas work on the vette, but i just think the camaro fits better with t's (jmho)
easier to take out too probably

edit: just a note, they had targas on the c4s too

It needs t-tops, targa, whatever....but 80% of '02 Camaro buyers paid a grand for t-tops. GM is asinine to ignore that, especially if it can, you know, MAKE MORE $$$$$$$.
I loved guion's comment that Mustang will be getting t's soon. If Mustang gets them, Camaro will NEED them.

Loved the T-Tops. Even when they were on they made the cabin a lot brighter, and provided a hell of a view of the stars at night.
That said, I don't think I would turn around and walk out of the dealer if that shiny new Camaro didn't have 'em .
