Way too over-the-top imo. The ridges on the top of the front fenders, just behind the headlights is ugly. As is the black lip around the front at the bottom. It's just got too much going on for me. All the scoops just scream 'rice' to me.

The C6-R is awsome to see race in person btw.

 

In case you've never seen a C6, the corvette had those creases first...

 

Z06.R would be the worst thing that could happen to the Corvette. Everyone wants to see giant "TYPE R" stickers all over a Vette, right? Might as well throw a wing on there that would make a Supra jealous. I also hope they leave it NA. I know it won't happen, but Chevy V8's have always been NA. If not, they should turbo it instead of supercharge it. Either way, I will never be able to afford one, so whatever I guess.

An LS series engine can see 496 cubes wtih a taller deck block, but I doubt GM would dothat with a factory engine.

 

Something is telling me that if someone plops down 6 figures for a Vette, they are going to want people to know it is a different kind of Vette from as far away as possible.

When has any other car with the letter R after it's trim ever had Type R written on it besides a Honda? It is amazing to me how terrified some people are of their cars being considered "rice". I don't think Z06.R would be that great of a name for the trim level, but I don't think it would be the end of the world either. Honestly, I would rather see it called Z06.R than Sting Ray.

 

That's obviously exactly the case. Someone combined the two vettes in that picture to create the photo of the"ZO7". The angles, interior, and everything are perfect. I will admit that it is a damn good photoshop, though.

 

All i can think about is, what if it is supercharged. Look at what it takes for a cobra to become silly or even a Cobalt ss. $400 drops GTPs into the 13s...

I think they could do something better with the wheels. Like bigger and more chromer or something dope like that..

I am kidding. But overall I don't like the C6-R's wheels much, but if they serve the purpose, they will be spinning, and fast, so who cares?

 

Just a chop of the C6.R and Z06. I'm hoping for something more unique with a better name.
