Very cool, congrats!!

I would have went with Black, I love black, but hate the work of keeping it clean.

I'd love to drive an LS4 car. I dove a '06 LTZ Monte and loved it. I'd like to see how it feels with a LS4 and the GXP's better suspension. As far as looks go I'd rather have an Impala or GXP. Plus on a car that big 4 doors is handy.

I was next to one at the gas station last week and the thing that jumped at me the most was the exhaust note.

It was driven by a girl in her mid 20's and it sounded great pulling out of the gas station.

It's called that because only a woman would drive it. The color is actually Laser Blue and it turns almost purple...

Of course now I have a GP that turns from green to purple...

I got 22-23mpg mixed in my GTP. Doing the same driving in the GXP I have not sniffed 18. The thing sucks premium like it does asphalt.

Let the engine break in. All our LS - engine cars have picked up about 2-3 mpg after getting some miles.

How "sensitive" is the DoD on the GXP? I'm driving around an '07 Tahoe right now, and it'll switch from V4 to V8 with just the slightest tip-in of the throttle. The engine seems to run very well in V4 mode, and it has me wishing that GM would have providing some sort of alternative DoD mode that's significantly more aggressive in keeping the cylinders deactivated.

Awesome car & great pics, Brandon.

If you'd talk to me a year ago, I'd be really questioning the wisdom of 4 doors over 2, and especially a FWD 4 door. But blown Grand Prixs, especially the new V8 GXPs, have grown on me quite a bit.

If it were up to me, I'd go with a Charger with the Road & Track package. But I get a feeling (going back to another thread) that while the Charger might be faster (in the quarter) and have better handling dynamics (due to RWD), the Grand Prix GXP might have a higher "Fun Factor than the Charger.

Notice any speed governor on the car yet? It's a big issue with me because on San Diego, Vegas, and Phoenix runs, I do get a occasional chance to, er... streach my legs.

To be honest I have never really noticed the DOD kick in....is there a trick to it? I have 1000 miles on the car and it is not any better yet.

Guy...people are running 13.6 1/4's with the GXP....is the Charge that fast? The GXP finishes the 1/4 in 2nd also.

Close enough to make it a driver's race.

The only way I can tell that the DoD is working on the 'hoe is to watch the display on the IP. Give it up to GM - the system operates seamlessly. Now, if only it'd operate more often...
