No, the Chevy II was the original Nova. The car line was "Chevy II" and the top trim line was "Nova" (just like "Malibu" was a trim line on Chevelle). There is much Chevy II underneath a first Gen. Camaro.
There was a "Heavy Chevy" trim on Chevelle in 1971-72: http://www.chevelles.com/years/72/heavychevy.html
So I guess in full that would have been the "Chevrolet Chevelle Heavy Chevy"

I know I was just fooling around. Because everytime FORD puts a II next to something it was worthless. Mustang II Bronco II both POSs.

I have owned my 1986 Bronco II since it was on the showroom floor as a demo, and today it has 368,000 miles on it - and still rolling strong. No seat tears, no dash cracks, no carpet holes, headliner still like new, original engine, original tranny, original rear, all 4x4 is working great. It was the hottest-selling SUV - bar none - for many years, and was the 2-door, carbon-copy lead-in vehicle to the '91 Explorer, which has carried on the tradition nicely IMO.
Likewise, I own (4) 1978 King Cobra Mustang II's. One is on my rotisserie right now going back together from a full teardown. Whether or not you like the style of the Mustang II is your personal preference, and I have no beef with that.
BUT don't even TRY to belittle the car itself as being a POS!
Fact is, they were miserably slow, but were LIGHT YEARS ahead of any other car in it's class (or better FTM) in quality, fit, finish, ride, NVH, and luxury. The suspensions (SLA-type upper/lowers with rack & pinion) are still sought after today for street rods and early Mustang resto-mods. The car was 1974's COTY after all.
Now I'm not going to say these were the pinnacles of modern automobiles in their day... but for you to make a blanket statement that they are all POS's does not demonstrate to me that you know what you are talking about.
Claim you don't like them, and I'll be fine with that.

But I challenge you to prove to me that they are "POS's"...
