I certainly am, just not quite sure w/ who yet, I think my g/f, but she won't be very interested in the cars...i dunno...
To whos ever gone before, whats the best time to be there, what days, should I get a hotel room, etc...
Thanks a lot.

I've been there the last few years. It's a great experience, even with the huge crowds. Going early in the day is a good way to beat the crowds.

Go the closing Saturday. Thats usually the best day. Try to get there kind of early. Get a good overview in the morning, and then go back and get pics of what you want during the lunch downtime. It can take you all day to hit all the displays and get a good look at everything there is to see. If you want to stay, go over to Windsor to get a room. Its typically a lot cheaper, plus the nightlife is a whole lot cooler. I havent decided what auto shows I'm going to yet. It will be either Detroit or Chicago, maybe both though!

I'll be going this year. I've been there 4 or 5 times before, it's always a great time. I have to go on the weekend, and it's usually very crowded, but I still enjoy it.

I'll be there. As far as whether to get a hotel room, that depends on how far away you're coming from and how much time you typically would spend at a large auto show. You can do the show in a few hours, if you're not one to look over every car there and/or skip some companies you aren't interested in. I usually spend a good Saturday afternoon there and see everything I'm interested in.
