I think I can sum it up...alot of new product is comming out from the competition..and its eye catching..we look to GM..it has alot fo great cars..if you make 50K a year or more..that is..so just wondering where the one guy that could get all this speculation back on track?? did he leave or cant post anymore..

I guess with the slip if the ZO6 pics the general is tighting everything up so nothing else slips. Red tried to give as much hope to us as he could without getting in too much hot water and was probably pushing the envelope as it was. I know we all wish we knew what the general was up to and he may have wanted to tell us whatever he knows, but there are rules and I am sure he wants his job. Plus with him as the main cheerleader for the camaro, I think the rest of us want him there too.

When has GM given us anything to be hopeful about? Why would we have any faith?I did like the guy a lot, though, and he was a great spokesman for GM. It's too bad he had to leave the site. He was one of the few things that helped people keep some faith.
Re: Where did red planet go???
He left on his own accord. I speak with him on a regular basis. He's still on the net on a couple of sites.
He told me he might write an explaination his leaving and send it to me. If he gets the time and if he does that, I'll post it for him.

Their car has been effectively dead for 7 years
In said 7 years they get little more than "have faith" and a mountain of speculative and nonsensical information.
Each new car that comes out is at least one of the three, out of price range/overpriced, sub par in performance, totally undersirable.
New products are being produced at a lagging pace, undoubtedly increasing time until release of the "wtf is it, is it a camaro, maybe i dont know, wait a minute maybe that shouldnt be a camaro?"
New competitors are coming out everyday. And everyday F-bods get older, and competition gets newer.
I can certainly understand his frustration, as im sure he understands ours, but lets not expect miracles. :blah:
Can I have his avatar?
