I think Mercedez had a huge recall with their new fancy electroncially acutated brakes(with a backup hydraluc system )

If you look inside a new S500 versus an old 90's model S500, you'll see that the plastics were of superior quality with the old body style. The new S500 does have a nicer swoopy layout, but falls way short on the overall level of quality. If I pay $80,000 for a car, I don't expect the door pull to creak and give when I shut the door.
