They should make the Z28 a four cylinder, and make the Type-R the top of the line, complete with VTEC.

Nice I'll see if I can forward that to chevy. I understand... that V6 is too much for you to handle.

In other

I think SS is the no brain answer here. Chevy is obviously pushing for the SS emblem to go on the top of the line vehicle regardless of the name. We have a Imapala SS, Monte Carlo SS and a silverado SS. It doesnt make much sense to break the cycle and make a Camaro Z28 top of the line, especially when a lot of the market already associates the 4th gen SS as top of the line.

I'd bet $1000 that when the new SS debuts, itll be top of the line.

In previous posts I stated that SS is a trim package. I disagee that the SS should be the top Camaro . It should be Z28 IMO. If thats the new "trend" at Chevrolet they can have the SS but not as the top performance model.

I think it should be something exclusive to the camaro, Z/28 would suffice.
Just like Corvette has the Z06, & Mustang has the Cobra.
Would a Tauras Cobra, Focus Cobra, or Windstar Cobra
be cool, & tough? Now why associate the top of the line
Camaro with a Silverado SS?

Definately much badder than the Metro SS or the Prism SS.
