Hmmm, yes Z284, it does look a little TPI-like. Funny though, an intake that looks a little like TPI and a suspension setup that's pretty similar to Third Gens, where are they going with this?

Probably back to big hair and RATT on the premium Delco-cassette stereos.

I can definetly relate to this one.

Nowadays you can pop the hood on a car and have to look for the engine in a sea of wires and plasic.

Anyone see under the hood of the new(er) porsche SUV?
That was the worst ever. EVERYTHING was covered by plastic. [I was viewing one at the auto show] ...Some pieces were even loose, so I made the comment "what happens when you hit a bump? All this plastic would probably fall right out of here..." Some random guy next to me laughed and one of the porcsche guys gave me the look ( :blah: ) If I were to spend 80 grand on one of those, I'd be in there with the ball-pene (or however you spell that)

Are you nuts? Ever seen a mid 80's GM carbed car? I have Absolutlely no comparison. You can't see any part of the engine! Nothing but hoses, wires, and vacuum lines...

No kidding! LOL!

Those old 80's engines looked like spaggetti!

I used to drive an '84 Caprice with a 305. The engine compartment looked like someone threw in a bundle of wires and hoses and layed an air cleaner housing on top. Talk about hard to clean...

Heh. Nope. I've never owned a carbed vehicle. Perhaps all those wires and hoses were partly intended to give it a more high-tech look .
