Notice that it is currently a clay model, but it looks to be proportioned like a Holden coupe. An Impala coupe is one possibility (means no more Monte...).

I would agree with that observation. The proportions would seem to be too large for the Delta-platform Cavalier replacement, and the window-line is definitely not a Monte Carlo. The quad tail lamps are a Chevrolet styling characteristic, though.

If this is what a 2006 VE-platform coupe is going to look like, they'd better go back to the drawing board. The greenhouse design is a copy of the 1999 Mercedes CL - not exactly a daring styling move. What ever happened to designs that looked to the future?

By the way, does anyone have an idea as to what the gold car might be. It looks vaguely like the 2004 Malibu, but pretty obviously isn't.

Hmm... the body looks too tall for that (looks like Holden lines to me)...

Monte Carlo replacement..? Or is (was?) it something closer to our hearts...

My first thought was Cavalier replacement....

But, I don't see why they'd be working on a half done clay mockup at this point.

Plus, yes, from that picture it does look a bit large.

From the taillights, you gotta figure it for a Chevy.

Maybe Beretta is coming back?!?!

from looking at the B pillar it appears to be a monte carlo. Notice how it has roughly the same B pillar shape as the 95-99 monte's did. I should know I own one.

The rear lights on the red one even look a little Vette-like. I wouldnt be surprised If GM replaces the Monte Carlo with a Impala coupe that has some relation to those 2 models in the background.

I really think that every GM car looks to me like a 5th gen Camaro

2 doors, round lights like early 70's

even the back has something like the 4th gen... but different lights
