Let's just wait and see what Chevy already has in mind for the next gen impala first

 

If the next gen Impala looks like the Volt, I think I will actually be impressed with it, unlike some new Chevy rides *coughmalibucough*.

 

The front and rear look good but I thought Impala was supposed to evoke the 62 impala. Volt front is 3rd gen and SS concept and rear is somewhat 69 Camaro. I dont see any Impala, but then again Im not an Impala guy. The only ones Ive been crazy about are the early 90's cars.

 

I kinda see a little G-body Monte Carlo SS in the front of the volt too. I think it definitely should come out on some new vehicle, it looks awesome.
