Sorry Mr.Hill couldnt please your grandma, and Im sure hes not lying awake at night thinking about it. You are looking at the best Corvettes ever, who cares about grandma.

I was referring to Mr. Hill's notorious quote saying that "even your grandmother will be able to tell a C6 Z06 from a regular Corvette!" when he was asked about how the Z06 will differentiate itself from the base Corvette in appearence.

So, I think Mr. Hill should care about my "grandmother". Obviously "grandmother" was a generic term... you should read up on Mr. Hill's quotes more often... sometimes informational.

hello andrew!!

i just wanted to say went to KU as well (grad school)

back to the car, that 3130 weight is a REAL eye-opener...still lighter than most of the competition, but FAR short of that 3000-target..i wonder how much, if any CF is being used....

I still love the car, but it seems much less appealing at 80K than it does at 60K (not that i could afford it in either range)

in a world of haves and have nots, i definitely know my place

I know the quote, but what I mean is that I really dont think that he cares either wich way. Your grandma isnt gunna go nuts weither its a Z06 or a Century.
The Z06 looks to have just enough tinkering with the fender flares, scoops, and the large ferrari-esque wheels to give it a Z06 feel.
And Im sure the exhaust will also tell the 2 apart...as well as thoes huge 315/335's sitting out back.

as for this car....there are cars that you gotta have, and then there are cars that you would rob a bank or pilage a small town for because you gotta have one....
This car inspires option B.

It is amazing to me that the longer this new Corvette is around, the more and more it starts to look like the Viper.

I noticed the viper look back when the spy pics were out of the body being formed (the white one in the boat docks)

if you look at the past vette styling, it stays very much true to the roots and not really to the viper
maybe the viper looked back on the old corvettes when it was designed?

So then why would he open his mouth?

At anyrate, the car is beautiful, but it'd be damn near impossible to mess up a C6.

I really don't see the front hood scoop happening. Especialy if those rear brake ducts are accurate. That would make way too many scoops groing in ever which direction, and that is NOT Corvette's style.

I love the wheels.. I hope they stay exactly like that picture. And am I the only one who likes that colour?

Overall =

Looks kinda choppish to me. I despise that front hood scoop, and the brake vents look kinda tacked on.
