uggh i dont know how much i like it. one thing thatis making me think it is a chop is the color. doesnt flatter the car too well. and it gives it a baby look being baby blue.

:blah: Wow. I think it's chop though, a nicely done one. I agree though with the color toning it down a notch, that blue doesnt seem to bring out the aggresiveness that a darker color would do.

I think I need some more angles to get a different perspective.

photoshop. its not exact, but its fairly close. i'm guessing the front grill will look a little different also.
edit: and if its gonna be as fast as we all think/know, then i'm assuming it will have ducts for the front brakes.

i like the look of it
struck me as aggressive when i first saw it
on a side note, i saw my first c6 yesterday (in motion atleast, saw one at naias too)
precision red metallic coupe that looked really nice
looked like the c5 was more low slung though (prob because it's longer) whereas the c6 resembled the stance of a c3 more than a low slung like c4,5

Did I read 7,000 RPM redline out of a 7.0 liter?

I'm not 100% certain on liking those wheels, yet. I don't dislike 'em, but I'm not sure I like 'em as much as the C5 Z06 wheels.

It looks like a chop to me too. There are a few areas where the highlights seem to be interupted but it was still well done. I still really like it. The fender falres and the wider rear tires make it look great. If all the specs are correct, everything looks great except for the weight. I was really hoping the car would be right at 3000 pounds. It would also be nice to have forged pistons.
Also, the color is not good for a ZO6, or the base Vette for that matter.

I guess we wil know very soon how acurate this picture is.

Only a matter of time before heads roll on these broken embargos. Glad I won't be part of it

3130 lbs? This is supposed to be sub 3100 lbs vette, and even closer to 3000 as was advocated here.

I hope that number isn't final.

Sorry, Mr. Hill, I'm pretty confident my grandmother won't be able to tell the difference between that and a regular C6, assuming this is a real picture.

Well that is a big dissapointment. I guess there wasn't much use, if any, of Carbon Fiber since the car is the same weight as the base car. Even with the added weight of some heavier duty parts, it should have been offset by lighter/more exotic materials.

Definitely a photochop, couple things I don't think are accurate. When looking at the spy pics the headlights and grill look different. IMO the hoodscoop looks like crap and I hope the fog lights are different than the base c6, again IMO they look like an after thought and a horrible one at that.

Less than 2 months and we know for sure.

No, there was plenty of weight saving for the Z06. It's just that adding components which support 500 hp adds lots of weight back in.
