i have come to the conclusion that this is most definately a chop. look at the front wheel right next to the front of the front fender. (kinda wordy, i apoligize) there is some purely black stuff that looks like its been painted on that covers up parts of the wheel that wouldnt normally be covered.

look at this picture notice where the wheel cuts into this mysterious black stuff (in the smaller circle). I doubt that would be on a real car some plastic part the cuts up like that.

That is a good idea about the previous Vipers, but the new Viper came out before the new Vette did. BTW, doesn't some of the old Viper team, before the DC merger/takeover, now work on the Vette team?

Yah, but when the current viper came out there were complaints everywhere from viper clubs that it looked too much like a vette. So I guess it goes both ways

Actually....GM sent a cease and desist order to some web sites to "remove the picture" as it was "their property".....

If it is a chop its an offical gm photochop meant only for the media and thats why they got so angry about it being leaked out tommorow.. Im pretty sure they wouldnt get so upset if it wasnt the real car.

The Z06 looks to have just enough tinkering with the fender flares, scoops, and the large ferrari-esque wheels to give it a Z06 feel.
And Im sure the exhaust will also tell the 2 apart...as well as thoes huge 315/335's sitting out back.

Also, you are taking the word "grandmother" too literally... it's mean as a more striking way of saying "anyone:... I'm pretty sure Females over 75 years old are not really on the Z06's demographic target list...
