Trying to find out how many were made

I recently purchased a 1999 Camaro Z28 Convertible with an LS1 engine and would like to find out how many of this model with these options were made. Thanks in advance

Re: Trying to find out how many were made

Just to be clear - all Z28's have the LS1 engine.

Not a lot of info on coupes vs. convertibles. But this might be interesting.

This sote reports 2,448 of the “1FP67” Camaro Z28 Convertibles were built in 1999.

Chevy Camaro RPO Codes

Also, this site has lots of info on production numbers for each paint color:

To be clear, all '98-02 V8 F-bodies (Z28s, SSes, Trans Ams, WS6es, and Firehawks) got the LS1.

For '93-97, it was the LT1.

Re: Trying to find out how many were made

F-Body V8 engine usage:

Add to the LS1 engine list - 1998-2002 B4C Special Service option (generally, police usage) plain-Jane Camaro. Basically, a Z28 without the Z28 emblems.

The 93-97 also had the B4C option available, with the LT1.

In 1997 the LT4 engine from the 1996 Corvette was installed in ~100 Camaro SS's and ~30 Firehawks
