TrailBlazer SS starts at $33,600

http://www.chevrolet.com/trailblazer/

$33,600....not bad for 400HP. Now that is a "got to have" product these should sell nicely, I expect them to hold value very well too.

I hope this isn't a repost

Oh boy!

Looks like they are getting the 06 site on line.

$33xxx... not bad... I assume that is the 2WD version.

This could be interesting....

Wow...I want one, and was expecting them to go for $40K. Good job GM.

BTW... it looks like the "revised" front end includes them simply blacking out the ends of the chrome spear over the headlamps...

That looks rather cheesey.

Any guess on how quick it is? GM's claiming a 0-60 under 6sec. Sounds like a solid low to mid 14's.

I think I saw 5.7 sec 0-60 somewhere... that's just from my unreliable memory though.

Wow, a trailblazer at a reasonble price for what its equipped with. I cant say I thought that about the standard models. Still, this really does not get me all feeling good or anything. The trailblazer's interior is too small for a reasonably tall guy. If I am going to live with a suv/truck, its going to be a bit bigger then the TB.

Re: TrailBlazer SS starts at $33,600

It isn't just "blacked out"; the clear covering over the light assembly now looks like one piece covering the headlights and the ambers/turn signals. The central bar, which used to run all the way across, now stops short where the light covering starts.

The SS actually uses what looks like last year's grille, except that there are small air inlets toward each end of the horizontal bar.

Subtle differences, but you can see them. Look at the side picture of the EXT for a decent look at the changes to the non-SS (with the single cover over the headlights and ambers...).

TB SS is on my (somewhat) short list of vehicle to replace the GTO when the lease is up... if I can just get past the rubbermaid interior.

Anyone have a pic of the "SS Specific steering wheel"?

WHOA. That's a heck of a price!!!

What do you guys think the scalp potential on this would be? Think the dealers are going to add 'regional price adjustments'?

That looks rather cheesey.

It looks good in person, the dealer near me has two of them. I think I might even like the new front better. Their is glass over the blacked out part.... you got to see it in person I can't explain it.
