When I talked about the Monaro, I ment the engine, which is what is in question here. He didnt tear apart the car, he tore apart the engine. That Rover isnt American either, but that Engine is, which is what he bashed int hat little rant.
So, I will say it again. The OHV push rod dinasor motor got better reviews then the OHC "high tech" motor, from a British car reporter. So again,

Clarkson loved the "corvette" engine and it gave plenty-o-power.
No one said anything about the Mustang or Camaro or anything... its the motor hes talking about, not the car. And he stated that the 4.6 is crap.

 

Well, not quite. In the last ep I saw they did a review of the Caddy CTS. They were quite stunned that the 'Americans' had made a car that could handle. Didn't like the interior, and after watching that I agree with them! Don't remember much about the review, but I might see if I can get that review hosted up for you guys.
