Think Cadillac's big news now? Just wait till tomorrow!!
Seems Cadillac is about to get the biggest automotive sales boost since Trans Am went stratospheric after "Smokey & the Bandit":

They were shooting part of this movie when I was still working out of San Francisco back in 2000, and they had at least 1 CTS running around Alameda (part of the movie was filmed at the old Navy base there).

i saw it last night..the cts aquitted itself pretty well in the movie...If you look at the highway chase scene, you'll understand GM paid a pretty penny for all the product placement...
The movie was wild...lots of sick fighting action, and the plot takes a wicked turn...I didn't completely understand what was going on towards the end, but i'll get a better idea when i see it again...took me a couple of viewings to understand the first movie, too...the abstract dialogue can overload my brain sometimes...

This article says that GM didn't pay WB anything to put it's cars in the movie, they just had to supply them with enough cars to wreck
They used 24 prototype Cadillacs for the movie, remember this chase scene was filmed back in 2001 before those cars were even made yet.
