Re: A test of FAITH.....

I'm in.

If we can finagle our way in on the industry preview days during mid-week, it shouldn't be that hard to find a restaurant where we could take over a section. I'm thinking the "meeting" might be better afterwards so we can discuss what we've seen (or haven't seen) over a few beers. It might also be a better chance to grill those with information to spill .

I'm up for it and will make the trip from Atlanta. I'll plan to fly in and probably rent a car. I'm a member of the Atlanta Camaro and Firebird Association so I'll pass the word around there.

I won't be able to make it, I'll be out of the country. Would anyone be willing to e-mail pics?

I'm sure by the press days are over, there will be pictures public. I live in Sterling Heights, so the drive shouldn't be too bad. I would think a pool hall or something like that would be a good meeting place...

Hell, I'd be in for this, and more than a few of my friends.

I think it will be very telling if we get some response from anyone at GM on this idea.

I also think that is Chris and Jason are going to be involved that this may carry some significant weight, being the owners of this site and all.

Sounds like fun! But, I am a poor bastard, who couldn't afford a trip like that. Kinda like Powertour=something I'd love to do... but probably never will. But I'll surely see the pics on here! You guys would probably drop me off in a bad neighborhood anyway, and I'd never get out alive! Sour Grapes! Anyway its not a good test of faith, my faith in GM has always been there!

Re: A test of FAITH.....

Wouldn't it be killer for a hundred or more Camaro enthusiasts to show up for this?

Imagine the press coverage and "buzz" it would build for the return of "our" car!

You think we could pull this off by showing up in our Camaros? (it's the middle of winter I know, but....)

Heh.

Might settle that whole FWD vs. RWD issue once and for all...
