I have owned a targa car, and a few T-Top cars.

T-Tops are much easier to handle than a targa.

Right on the money!! With either option you have to store it away or your screwed when it rains. It also means no subs in the back. If they could store behind the back seat without looking like an after thought(a.k.a Fiat, Ferrari) maby I could live with it. Although those are totally different configurations.

If this is true...looks like my next purchase really will be either be Dad's Formula (as the sig says!) or a third gen. No t-tops or targa = no sale to me.

Does it sit up in the window? Sorry, thats not the look most people are after.
Also do you have T-tops, don't they store in the well?

Ttops would deffinatly be key to the Camaro. A chevy coupe with ttops without the Camaro name will get me upset.
So if its a Camaro...it better have the option. If its a Chevelle, Nova, Whatever...im not too worried.

Sounds good to me. I've had a Targa (C4) and T-tops (4th Gen), both of which didn't get used very much because of storage, and fear of leaving them off when ever I got to where I was going. Plus, if the Camaro is going the direction of the rumours, (3 box coupe) it seems the G6 style sunroof is what will fit. I don't recall T-tops in Camaro's until the mid-70's.

I would probably opt for the open roof.

I hope they don't have t-tops or a targa top. It will just add to the development costs, and the sticker price, even on those models that don't have them. Remeber, simplicity is the key

I do hope they have a convertible version(one that looks good) and maybe make a giant sunroof optional(I mean the biggest one that will possibly fit)

It will suck if the only option is a sun roof. I am a big fan of T-tops and I like the targa idea as options. Sun roof will make my next car purchase easy. Not Chevy performance coupe.

The Monte had the sliding sunroof in it... I nearly never used it. In fact, I even kept the shade closed.

So, when I got the GTO, and there was no sunroof avaiable.... I didn't really care.

If Camaro comes back with a sunroof... I'd pass... and I'd be very disappointed that there were no T-Tops. It's part of the car, IMO. And, what, 85% of F-Body buyers agreed buy purchasing T-Tops, right?

I love T-tops. 4 of my 5 Camaros had them.
T-tops or targa top is almsot a must-have on this new car!!!

But I may be able to be swayed into accepting a large G6-type sunroof... I dunno... will have to see how it looks at the time.
