SVT lightning dead or alive?
Re: SVT lightning dead or alive?
Yes and no. I believe they said they were comitted to producing two SVT vehicles despite the reorganization. Those would be Mustang and a sport truck.
However, consensus seems to be that the new F-150 wouldn't be accomodating toward high performance. Way too heavy among other things.

Re: SVT lightning dead or alive?
Concur. Ford's new product guy (too tire to remember the name... it's 3:30 am) said there will be at least 2 SVTs, a Mustang and a truck.
Thing is, he didn't specify the truck. Could be a F series, could be a Ranger, could be an Explorer.

Re: SVT lightning dead or alive?
Is the Adrenaline dead? The sport trac version SVT? That actually would make sense...a 4 door SUT that goes fast, can be driven in the winter, and can haul more than 2 people...especially if it could still tow something, like 4-5K lbs. Basically a Ford version of the TBSS.

There is a truck coming. I just don't know if it's going to be the Lightning or the Adrenaline. Both trucks were essentially done when they were killed, so in theory at least, it could be either one.
