True, but if they were MY patent, and I could charge a "Modest" premium of $100, over normal cylinder heads I would LOVE to say - sell them to Ford to use on the 900,000 F-series a year. $100X900,000 is a very big number.

Selling 50 sets a year at $10,000 while my patent runs out seems stupid in comparison. I don't think it's greed... maybe they are bizarrely expensive to manufacture for some odd reason...

I doubt it that it is that expensive, go on their site and they tell you that they are chaper since they only have about 30 moveable parts compared to over 100 on regular heads. I believe the guy just wants to ride the patent a little, make some good money while he can still sell the patent later on for the same or even more money then now.
