Cool Something to break things up a bit.

Depending on your point of view, it's either good or bad.

We call them ghosts out here because they are nearly impossible to identify till it's too late and their right on you (for some reason their radar isn't set for long distances ).

They don't necessarily have to have their radars on (folks complain when their radar detectors do not detect squad cars) to see if someone is speeding.

That said, I'm torn. Something so great used for something so evil...

The one's out here are worse, they're all unmarked. The headlights and reverse lights flash when the sirens on, and there are red and blue lights attached to the front of the inside rear view mirror. They can come in any color and I think some of them even have T tops (cant remember seeing one with them though). Only way to tell the difference is to see the lights attached to the mirror. I think they also dont have Z28 badges but I dont remember. The Crown Vics are way easier to find though. I mean, how often do you see Crown Vics with tinted windows?

You've got that right. I was coming home one day from Merrillville with my family. I spotted...what I thought was a white Z/28 in my rearview mirror...about a quarter of a mile away and going in excess of 90mph. I remember thinking to watch out for this a$$hole lunatic. I didn't even realize he was a State Trooper until he passed me and I noticed the lights on his rear view mirror.
