Some stuff I noticed at the NYC autoshow this past weekend.

- Hummer seams to have been the most popular brand there.

- Jeep had the best display. They had a HUGE football field sized area set up as an indoor off-road course. You could take rides in all the jeep models though water and over logs and steep hills.

- EVERY Chevy has a better steering wheel than the 2000+ Camaros.

- Malibu Maxx back seat is very nice, Malibu interior feels very solid and well built.

- Aveo has a lot of interior room for a car that small I'm 6'0" and I fit in the front and back seats with no problems. This car looks very good considering you can get one NEW for as cheap as $8500 after rebate/discount.

- All the new Caddys look great I'm in love with the CTSv. SRX moon roof is HUGE, I like it.

- STS looks awesome in person. They had a Silver one with chrome 18" rims and Dark Blue V6 with 17" Both cars look amazing inside and out.

- GTO had one of they nicest interiors there.

- C6 vert looks better than the already nice coupe IMHO

- The new 20" chrome rim options for the GMC and Chevy full size trucks are a very nice touch.

- BMW 6 series back seat sucks it is as small or smaller than the 3 series.

- Chevy Uplander looks better in person, the Saturn Van looks the worse.

- Ion redline is nice. The Recaro Seats are very nice, I wouldn't mind them in the 5th Gen.

If I think of anymore I'll ad them later

It looked to be the same as the SEMA concept. It was roped off.

laughed! She was talking to my friend, and he asked her if it was AWD, and she said it was gunan come out as FWD first, then AWD later on. I then said, Its a RWD truck, there is no FWD Tblazers. She was pretty set on it being FWD.

I was going to ask if it had the 345 or 385hp V8 but after hearing your story in another thread I decided not to waste my time.

I'm not going to be picking on the Aveo's size anymore, it actually is a good sized car on the inside, a lot more room than my Camaro

ahah, yeah I didnt even get past the FWD talk to get anymore info. After that, I just went over to the SS Silvarado.

and the Aveo hatch is quite roomy isnt it? That, and the Maxx's rear seat that can slide back and recline! thats awesome. It would be nice to have a power option... Maybac like luxury for 24k! But I put that seat all the way back, and man, there was more then enough room for someone that was 7ft.

the Maxx back seat was very nice too, I love the skylights, I hope they for their way into more cars.

People b!tched about the Malibu steering wheel, but I kind of liked it in person, far better than my Camaros. I wish I could have sat in a C6, I guess I'll have to wait until next year.
